Build your foundation
The Rising Star Bonus is designed to help you build a solid foundation for your business. There are quite a few terms at play here, so we’re going to do a quick overview…
PV: Personal Volume – how much you purchased
OGV: Organization Group Volume – the total amount your team purchased that month
Leg: Someone on your Level 1 and everyone under them
For you to qualify for the Rising Start Bonus you must be enrolled in Essential Rewards and must purchase at least 100PV every month.
For a leg to help qualify you for RSB the top of the leg, your Level 1 needs to be enrolled in Essential Rewards and have a minimum order of 100PV as well.
What is a share?
The Rising Star Bonus (RSB) is Young Living’s way of sharing their profits with their distributors. Only Stars, Senior Stars, and Executives are eligible to earn RSB shares based on 1% of all Young Living’s monthly commissionable sales. The amount paid to the distributor is determined by the number of shares he or she earns. You can earn up to 6 shares as part of the Rising Star Bonus pool. In general, shares are between $30 and $50 a piece
Once you have established your first 3 legs and they are each on Essential Rewards, you can start building to get your first share from the RSB!
When you are on ER and your first 3 legs are too (and ordering 100PV month), then the next step is getting those 3 legs up to 300 OGV. This 300 OGV can be achieved in a single order or a variety of smaller orders.
2nd Share Set
Now that you have those first 3 legs up and running, the next step is having 2 additional! (So the picture to the right is in addition to the one above.)
To get the next 2 shares you need an additional 2 legs that also have at least 100PV on ER by your Level 1 and a total of 500 OGV with each of those 2 legs. This gets you 2 shares (plus the one share from the first 3 legs!)
3rd Share Set
Now that you have those first 5 going, the next step is your final 2!
To get the next 3 shares you need an additional 2 legs that also have at least 100PV on ER by your Level 1 and a total of 1000OGV with each of those 2 legs. This gets you 3 more shares (plus the 3 other shares from the first 5 legs!)
The whole picture
So that’s the Rising Star Bonus! One good thing to know: The legs can change. Meaning – what starts out as your legs 1-3 can later be leg 5 or eventually leg 7 (and then back again). RSB is set up so that you GROW and your team is setup to grow strong as well. This setup, when you’re building this way, gets you in place to achieve the rank of Executive and grow far beyond that as well!
You may earn it multiple times over the course of 24 continuous months. In other words, the eligibility period continues whether you qualify each month or not. The period starts the first time you qualify, including if you qualify for the first time during the six-month compensation plan transition period.
